Dear curling friends
As President of the Curling Club Basel Arlesheim, I am delighted to welcome you all to our curling club in Arlesheim.
In addition to the sport of curling, social interactions has always been particularly important to our club. I am therefore all the more pleased that we are able to give this year’s Take-Out Trophy a new face. Combining a competitive and popular sport in one great event. In addition to top class competition, there will also be plenty of fun in the form of a festive highlight on Saturday evening.
It is a special honor for us to welcome teams from Japan, Italy, Sweden, Germany, Scotland, Norway, the Netherlands, France, Kazakhstan, Austria and various regions of Switzerland to Arlesheim just before Christmas. I would like to thank all the teams for their participation. We would also like to thank our sponsors, advertisers and patrons as well as “Sporthilfe beider Basel” for making it possible for us to run this event.
The organizing committee of the Take-Out Trophy, the board of the Curling Club Basel Arlesheim and the numerous helpers from the ranks of our members will do everything they can to offer the players and also the guests, accompanying persons, coaches and other interested parties a challenging and enjoyable weekend in Arlesheim.
I wish everyone a great curling weekend and exciting and fair games.
